Our History

The History of Hope Apostolic Faith Ministries (HAFM) is a story of love, humility, determination, and faith. From a small living room at 1310 S. Maple, to a one room humble structure at 4901 West Short 3rd Street, and now a modern multiplex worship with educational campus at 5910 Carbon Street, HAFM has stayed true to its commitment to be a service to Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

In our old building on West Short Third, we had only one room to accommodate our comprehensive ministry for meeting people‘s needs. No matter the trials and tribulations, the saints of HAFM always had a smile and a praise in our hearts. The HAFM saints remained faithful at the room facility and never contemplated turning back or giving up as God’s leading hand. And because of that faithfulness, God has blessed HAFM with a new worship multiplex.

Being blessed with a beautiful spacious sanctuary, classrooms in abundance, reading and study rooms, well-outfitted lounges for men and women, professionally equipped fellowship and banqueting hall along with ample parking have provided much reason, proof and occasion to praise God.

But no matter the building, the commitment of HAFM saints never changed. A commitment to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and make disciples of all kinds of people, to serve as a community of worship and fellowship, to mature believers and prepare them to perform works of ministry, and to be a light to the world. The mission, vision, and purpose has never changed.
